About Soothe
Recently my mum had a scan to check whether chemotherapy had successfully cured her cancer. She was told the scan revealed secondary cancer. We were devastated. There was so much grief and pain. It got me thinking - how do we soothe ourselves? How do we calm or placate ourselves when we are hurting? How do we do this in ways that take care of ourselves? In response to these questions I set up the Soothe page. Two weeks later, results of a more accurate scan - my mother is given the all clear. Wow, perhaps there needs to be a gratitude project next!
